Individual Assessment and Intervention

Depending on the challenges you are experiencing, a suitable plan for contact will be agreed. Intervention will involve the use of an accredited therapeutic approach which will best address your difficulties. Possible interventions include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR); Solution-Focussed Brief Therapy (SFBT); Hypnotherapy

Life Coaching
Life coaching centres around the premise that everyone has the ability to use their own personal resources to achieve their goals. The coaching process will give you the opportunity to explore who you really want to be and to help you work towards achieving a life more meaningful for you
Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM)
CISM is an effective, structured, crisis intervention used to support those who have experienced a traumatic/ untoward incident at work. This is usually delivered in a group-based format fostering peer support within the affected team.

LEAD CLINICIAN
Dr Mary Dooher, DClinPsych, AFBPsS, HCPC
Dr Mary Dooher is a Chartered Consultant Clinical Psychologist. She has spent over 30 years working with individuals and teams experiencing mental health challenges. Since qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist from Queen's University Belfast in 1999, she has spent the past 25 years working in Physical and Mental Health settings, supporting both patients and staff to address both their physical and psychological concerns

Mary in collaboration with other psychological practitioners, has delivered psychological education, support and training to organisations which have included NHS, Media and Security settings
​
Mary has also completed Level 2 training in Professional Coaching Skills as accredited by International Coach Federation (ICF)
